I happened across this video that demonstrates how to use the iPhone Genius Scan app to quickly create PDF documents with an iPhone camera.  This can be a great way to get signed work orders emailed right away from technicians. It has a free version that I used to email the PDF file to us.  Or $2.99 for the version that can also store the pdf on their server (not needed).

Also, I found an ANDROID application that can do this as well. I am unable to test it but there is free limited version (with ads) or $2.60 for the full version.
