"Comcast residential grade modem is bad. Bypassed the connection to the Linksys wired router and tested directly between PC2 and the Comcast modem and still could not consistently maintain network connectivity. DNS resolution occurred less than 50% of the time. Comcast had a technician on site for a different issue and had him check as well, with agreement on the issue. He was to coordinate getting a new modem on site today or tomorrow. Updated Robert in the support center with the details. Also fixed an audio problem with PC1 while on site. "
"Bad Comcast modem. Did note with support that the Linksys router is likely due to be replaced. It looks to be more than six years old. It did however test fine. Also advised the site they may have heat issues stacking the two devices together (taped together)."
